Description
The County of Augusta is seeking a Class A Contractor for improvements along the South River in the vicinity of Dooms Crossing Rd. A portion of the dam on the east side is to be removed along with point bar material to improve the flow characteristics of the channel. On the west side of the river, an existing vertical bank is to be stabilized by slope shaping and installing toe rock / wood, soil lifts, and rock vanes to reduce shear stress and erosion. Q&A due 6 days prior to bid. Bonds required.
