Description
Work to be performed includes the following: Construction of a granular activated carbon (GAC) facility designed to remove per and polyfluoroalkyl Substances (PFAS) from two potable ground water sources. Construction of reinforced concrete backwash tank and recycle pump station. Construction of a CMU building for Well G-3. Construction of yard piping. Installation of six (6) GAC vessels, pre-purchased with the contract assigned to the contractor. Installation of 10 Owner furnished manganese treatment filters. Installation of Owner furnished chemical feed systems. Installation of Owner-furnished MCC, VFD, RTUs, and instrumentation. Construction of in-ground infrastructure including water mains, seismic adaptors, primary and control electrical conduit and wiring. Construction of a stormwater percolation pond. Site preparation including tree removal, grading, excavation, fence installation, landscaping, and miscellaneous improvements. Bonds Required. Prevailing Wages.
