Description
This project entails the rehabilitation of six deteriorated storm sewer outfalls located along the Guadalupe river, Coyote Creek, Thompson Creek and Calabazas Creek. Scour has resulted in the erosion of the river and creek banks that has undermined the existing concrete sack rip-rap and outfall infrastructures. The work to be performed under this contract consists of, but is not limited to, clearing, grubbing and removal of obstructions, tree protection, dewatering and creek bypass pumping, cofferdam erection and removal, erosion and runoff prevention, demolition and disposal of existing storm sewer structures (pipes, junction structure, headwalls and aprons), removal and disposal of concrete sack riprap, excavation and site
preparation, placement of structural and non-structural fill (native and imported), construction of new storm sewer and outfall structures (pipes, junction structure, headwall and apron, and flap gate), connection to existing storm sewer, placement of rock riprap, and general site grading and restoration. Also included as part of the contract is the protection of existing utilities, existing fences, existing trees and
other items and details as required by these Project Specifications, the plans, the Standard Specifications and the Standard Details. Bonds required. Prevailing wages. Q&A due by 06/10/21 at 3PM.
