Description
The work to be done under this contract consists of, in general, but not limited to: removal of 5- inch and 6-inch diameter cast iron pipe (CIP), and the installation of 6-inch ductile iron pipe (DIP). This project also includes the construction of new sanitary sewer manholes, rehabilitation of existing manholes and the evaluation, repair and reconnection of sanitary sewer service laterals. The work shall include, but not restricted to, clearing, grubbing, and removal of obstructions, laying and installing new pipe conduit for the sanitary sewer system, sawcutting, removal and/or
abandonment of existing pipelines and manholes, pavement restoration, cleaning and video inspection of existing sewer mains and service laterals, protection of existing utilities and appurtenances and such other items and details required by these Technical.
