City Hall Cupola Restoration Project, Norwalk, CT

Project summary and scope of work for this project shall include but shall not be limited to (in order of priority): abatement of lead paint, asbestos containing materials, pcb's or any other hazardous materials required to perform the work, repair and restoration of balustrade elements and roofing replacement at gallery level, repair and restoration of all exterior wood trim, casings, moldings, sills and panels at lantern level, replacement of all windows at lantern level and door at base level, cleaning, scraping, sanding, priming and painting of all exterior wood and metal surfaces, removal of miscellaneous items, cleaning and painting of interior, replacement of interior gallery level sub-flooring, removal of obsolete bell per note on drawing A-1 (alternate #1), new LED interior and exterior lighting per layout and schedule on drawing A-1 (alternate #2), temporary relocation of items as required to perform the work, cutting and patching as required to perform work, and new copper finial at top of dome, per detail on drawing A-2 (alternate #3).
