CMAR for CSM Martin R "Gunny" Barreras Memorial Park, Tucson, AZ

This project represents the implementation of an element of the Tucson Delivers Parks + Connections Program as approved by voters in 2018. The project consists of multiple improvements to CSM Martin R “Gunny” Barreras Park. Improvements planned as part of this project include but are not limited to: demolition of various existing park amenities, site grading, installation of hardscape and landscape elements, installation of new parking access driveway. installation of “Green Storm water Infrastructure”, installation of new irrigation systems, installation of electrical lighting including sports lighting, construction of new and remodeled restrooms, installation of an outdoor exercise facility, refinishing of sports courts, fencing installation, Construction of a splash pad facility, repaving/expansion of parking lots, installation of playground equipment with shade sails, and installation of site furniture including drinking fountains. The duration of the pre-construction phase of this project is estimated to be 90 days and is estimated to start in July of 2021.
