Description
1. Coordinating the Work, including coordination between trades, subcontractors, suppliers, public utilities, and the Owner to ensure the progress of work. 2. Potholing existing utilities prior to the start of Work. 3. Partial removal of the existing 24-inch sewage pipe coming from the headworks to the aerated lagoon. 4. Demolition of electrical, and controls as shown on the drawings. 5. Install a new cast in place concrete or precast concrete open channel and pre-cast concrete lift station. 6. Install a new precast concrete valve vault, including piping, valves and appurtenances at the force main connection point and shown on the drawings. 7. Excavation, imported structural backfill, compaction and surface restoration for the structural structures and force main per Section 31 22 05. 8. Provide and place between the compacted subgrade and the overlying imported structural fill a separation barrier of Mirafi 160 N, or approved alternate. 9. Provide and place imported pipe bedding material. 10. Install two (2) new submersible pumps with piping, valving, miscellaneous appurtenances, instruments, controls at the new lift station. 11. Install a new 24-inch DIP overflow pipe from the lift station back to the Aerated Lagoon No. 1. Liner replacement or patching will be needed to accommodate for the 24-inch diameter DIP overflow pipe. Bonds Required. Prevailing Wages.
