Miscellaneous Sanitary Sewer Repairs FY 2020-2021 (Package II), San Jose, CA

The work to be done under this contract consists of, in general, but not limited to: CCTV of approximately 2,600 linear feet of 6-inch, 8-inch and 21-inch sanitary sewers, point repairs to existing 6-inch, 8-inch and 21-inch vitrified clay pipe (VCP), removal and replacement of 8-inch VCP sewer segment, and installation of cured-in-place liner (CIPP). This project includes removal and replacing of four sanitary sewer manholes, removal and replacing of one sanitary sewer drop manhole, rehabilitation of four sanitary sewer manholes, reconnection of active sanitary sewer service laterals, reconstruction of active sanitary sewer service laterals and reinstatement of active sanitary sewer service laterals. The work shall include, but not restricted to, clearing, grubbing, and removal of obstructions, laying and installing new pipe conduit for the sanitary sewer system; saw cutting; removal and/or abandonment of existing pipelines; pavement restoration; removal and restoration of existing curb and gutter, sidewalk and driveway; cleaning and video inspection of existing sewer mains and service laterals; protection of existing utilities and appurtenances and such other items and details required by these Special Provisions, the Plans, and the Standard Specifications and the Standard Details.
