Description
McNears Beach Park has an existing parking lot at the eastern end of Cantera Way in San Rafael, which has a deteriorated surface and needs repaving. The Base Bid of this project includes improvements to the paving surface, including improved vehicular circulation, new concrete curbs, striping, and improved stormwater drainage in the parking lot. Low-impact design methods will be employed to capture a portion of the surface run-off into vegetated areas. Trees will be replaced and mulch, soil, shrubs, and new irrigation will be added. An Additional Alternate scope includes improvements to the driveway on the southeast side of the parking lot. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
