Large Diameter Valve Rehabilitation or Repair, Tempe, AZ

The City of Tempe (City) is issuing this Request for Proposal (RFP) to establish a two (2) year contract for the maintenance, repair or rehabilitation of City owned large* diameter valves. This contract would include the supply of all parts, supplies and services to repair City owned valves on an as needed basis for the City’s Municipal Utilities, Water Utilities Division. Selected vendor(s) shall be capable of fabricating and or sourcing valve parts and components necessary and making required adjustments to restore existing valves to fully functional state. Necessary parts may include but are not limited to gear boxes, individual gears, bearings, seals, bushings, gaskets or other internal parts as needed. Work may be located at Water Treatment Plants, Right of Way, areas accessible via manhole covers, or other possible areas. Bonds required.
