New Construction: Charles Carroll Community Center, Westminster, MD

The scope of work shall include the construction of a new 13,000 S.F. prefabricated metal community center facility along with weather resistant standing seam panels for the roof structure. The building will include a 6,600 SF full-size multi-use gymnasium to include bleachers. Heating of the facility will be by propane gas. Also to be included within the Scope of Work are site improvements consisting of: installation of sediment & erosion control measures, earthwork – cut and fill to pad ready condition, stormwater management facilities, utility connections to the existing well and septic system, deceleration lane from MD Rte. 97 to site, access drive, parking lot, lane and parking lot striping, concrete curb & gutter, concrete sidewalks, retaining wall, permanent seeding and mulch and landscaping. Bidders must be prequalified with the Bureau of Building Construction if the value of the contract exceeds $500,000. Prequalification forms must be submitted not later than 14 days prior to bid date and specifically identify the project.
