2021 Gravel Road Chip Seal Project, Westminster, MD

Double Chip Seal existing gravel roadway. The chip seal consists of applying emulsion and #7 and #8 stone chips in two layers. All roads will be swept clean of excess chips and a fog seal will be applied; maintenance of traffic; and all incidental work as indicated in the Specifications or in the Special Provisions on the roadways as identified within this Invitation for Bids. Bidders must be pre-qualified by the Carroll County Department of Public Works prior to bid opening. The bidder must be approved for the type of work applicable to the project. The pre-qualification application forms shall be submitted to the Bureau of Engineering a minimum of ten (10) days in advance of the bid opening.
