Total Small Business Set-Aside NAICS Code: 238220 - Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors Mechanical renovation project at Defense Supply Center Columbus. The project involves the addition of a piping loop to an existing 218 ton chiller at Building 11 and the replacement of an existing chiller at Building 10. The project includes replacing DX cooling coils in six air handling units with chilled water coils which will be supplied from the new chilled water loop. The DX condensing units associated with all these systems will be removed. The new chilled water piping loop will be installed on the outside of Building 11 and will include the installation of new pumps and will require the installation of piping support structures. The project will include work on 15 air handling unit systems in Buildings 10 and 14 air handling unit systems in Building 11. Internally lined ductwork will be removed and replaced with externally insulated ductwork. The air handling units will be refurbished by replacing the insulation on the inside of the units. Work on the air handling systems will include the installation of energy recovery units to supply outdoor air. Bonds & prevailing wages apply.
