Description
The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, the installation of approximately 2,400
linear feet of 24-inch diameter ductile iron water transmission main from the existing Falulah Water Treatment Plant at 1200 Rindge Road to the existing water storage tanks located south of the plant. Installation shall be completed via open cut methods, including remove and replacement of the existing 16-inch ductile iron water main for a portion of the total extent, installation on the Falulah Reservoir earthen dam crest, and installation parallel to the existing 16-inch water main (through cross-country areas) for the remaining extent. Work will also include temporary flow diversion of existing streams, wetlands restoration, installation of miscellaneous chain link fencing, and provision of additional water system materials.
