Description
The project is located in southwest Houston, Texas, on the east side of Bering Ditch (W142) from Windswept Ln. to Beverly Hill St. (approximate length is 1,600 ft). The project includes construction of sidewalks, wheelchair ramps, crosswalk pavement markings, and pedestrian handrails. The following work is included in the project plans: - Proposed 6" thick sidewalks, wheelchair ramps, thermoplastic pavement markings, pedestrian handrail, and installing/replacing street signs - Tree removal & protection, stormwater pollution prevention measures, and traffic control required by the City - Adjusting manhole to grade, removing reinforced concrete pavement, clearing and grubbing, and sodding. Bonds required. Prevailing wages apply.
City of Houston General Conditions and Standard Construction Specifications govern this project. Texas Department of Transportation and Harris County Flood Control District Specifications are applicable as provided in plans and the project manual.
