Description
This project includes the removal of all the existing interior coatings and repainting the
reservoir interior shell, rafters, floor, ladder, overflow, interior roof plates, roof, inlet and
drain piping, and all other miscellaneous steel on the interior of the Dollar Cove potable
water tank with an NSF/UL 61 coating system for contact in potable water service. The
project also includes properly preparing the Dollar Tank exterior surface and repainting the exterior of the water storage tank roof plates, shell, ladder, ladder cage and all piping, and appurtenances. The Dollar Tank was built in 1984, has a diameter of 44’, a shell Height of 32’, and a rated capacity: 350,000 Gallons. The project also includes miscellaneous metals work and tank shell repair bid items.
