Description
The scope of work is to provide a dedicated UPS room with environmental precision cooling. The new UPS room will support a variety of critical loads. The Contractor shall seal the new room air tight, fire proof roof deck and finish paint all walls as indicated in the plans. Provide for demolition and removal of existing 125 kVA MGE UPS system and associated HVAC cooling presently located in the main electrical room. Existing Emergency Power OFF (EPO) circuitry shall be relocated from existing UPS to new UPS. Two new LED lighting fixtures having emergency battery shall be provided for the new UPS room. All original base building electrical distribution equipment that is no longer desired in the new UPS room shall be removed or replaced. New replacement equipment in the building main electrical room is required as indicated in the plans. All electrical cutover shall be performed during off hours and coordinated well in advanced with the Owner. Bonds required and prevailing wages.
