Gadsden Loop Neighborhood Revitalization Sidewalk Project. Walterboro, SC

The scope of this contract consists of clearing & grubbing a pathway in a prescribed alignment within the right‐of‐way to allow for grading a defined width of subgrade to construct a concrete sidewalk. It also includes the striping of existing pavement for proposed crosswalks at existing roadway crossing points within the route. The sidewalk will be on the eastern side of Robertson Blvd and the western side of Peurifoy Rd. The existing ditches along Smith Street hold water and must be regraded to promote positive flow. It will be the responsibility of the contractor to coordinate with the local utility providers and for making the necessary adjustments. All road work is to be performed within the existing or obtained Right‐of‐Way of the road and construction easements. Some or all the funding for this project is being provided by a Community Development Block Grant and a Transportation Alternative Grant, therefore all federal CDBG (Community Development Block Programs) and SCDOT (South Carolina Department of Transportation) LPA (Local Public Agency) requirements will apply to the contract. Substantial Completion for this project must be within 120 days of NTP (Notice To Proceed). Insurance Required. Bonds.
