Detention Pond Rehab/Reconstruct - 2 Sites, Lawrenceville, GA

The scope of work includes the following: Remove all trees inside the pond, to the height of the dam. Cut stumps as tight to the ground as you can. Dam-remove tree from the face and 10' from the back face. Remove vegetation in a 20' perimeter around the outfall pipe and headwall. Inlet and outlet flumes to be cleared of debris and sediment. Clean and replace riprap at the forebays. Add riprap to the outlet pipe discharge if needed. Trash rack to installed on the Outlet Control Structure, if needed, clean any debris off water quality, overflow pipe and inside OCS. Replace filter stone at OCS. Any agreed on chipped up material to be spread evenly in an agreed area on site, no chips to be put on inside of pond, they can be put on back face of dam. Remove all sticks and debris from inside the pond. All inorganic trash to be removed from the site. Any undisturbed dirt must be strawed and seeded. Follow inspection deficiencies reports from the county. Grout inside OCS pipes coming in and going out, also grout around pipe at all headwalls. Check orifice size to match what's on the drawing and pull tape measurement across orifices and take pictures. Send them in with the invoice through email. Fences can be removed to access work areas if needed, but they must be put back in the same condition as they were before, in areas that are near or around playgrounds or close to the school's ponds. Must be secured to keep all kids out of work area at all times. Lock all gates each day before leaving. If locks are bad contact David Talley and he will furnish a new one to replace it.
