The existing high efficiency boilers serving Borick Hall on the Western Colorado University campus are past their serviceable lifespan and must be replaced. Borick Hall is a two story, 23,690sf brick classroom facility built in 2007. The original boilers function poorly and are no longer produced or supported by the current manufacturer. The engineering drawings included herewith illustrate in detail the replacement for the boilers, flues and circulation pumps. The existing mechanical room is conveniently located on the ground level adjacent to a raised concrete platform with easy vehicular access. There are no restrictions on time or hours of work until the start of classes on August 23, 2021 after which time work can continue, but may be impacted by academic activities in the Facility. Parking is readily available and on-site storage/staging of equipment is allowed. Bonds Required.
