Description
Greenwood County (“Owner”) is requesting proposals from qualified General
Contractors for the design and construction of a volunteer fire station located at 1400
Highway 221 South, in Greenwood, SC (Parcel ID # 6843-559-406). The design build
project will consist of single story, two-bay metal building with one restroom, one office
space, one storage/classroom, nine parking spaces and a concrete driveway onto Hwy
221 South. This request seeks to identify the combined qualifications of the general
contractor, project design and cost proposal submitted that are in the best interests of
Greenwood County. The proposals submitted will be evaluated utilizing the Selection
Guidelines outlined in this Request for Proposals. The County is seeking a cost-effective
and highly qualified partner. Greenwood County reserves the right to reject any and all
submittals. Insurance Required. Bonds.
