Description
James City County is soliciting Two-Step sealed competitive bids from qualified and experienced professional contractors licensed in the state of Virginia with the demonstrated capability and capacity for the Foxes Stream Restoration project as described in this Invitation for Bids. The Goal of the project is restoration and stabilization of 1260 linear feet of degraded channel. The project will restore natural stream function and habitat, including the stabilization vertically incised and unstable banks using natural stream design principles. Bank stabilization, grade control, and habitat enhancement using riffle-run-pool-glide facets are proposed throughout the project area. Q&A due by noon, 7/16/21. Bonds required.
