Paving Government Center, Emergency Operations Center and EMS Base. Reidsville, NC

Rockingham County is seeking bid for a paving project that includes our Governmental Center, Emergency Operations Center and the Reidsville EMS Base - 3. Work shall consist of the following: removal of approximately +/- 34,019 square yards of asphalt located on the west side of the Rockingham County Governmental Center at 371 NC 65, Reidsville NC 27320, as shown on the drawings. Asphalt to be milled and removed from site and disposed of at an approved facility. The County estimates that the existing paving thickness is 2” thickness. Contractor will repair sub-base in any areas marked where underground utilities are located. Repair shall consist of removal of sub-base, removal of unsuitable soils and fill with clean stone and new sub-base material to make level for new paving. Paving shall consist of a final thickness of 2” of S9.5B and 2” of S9.5C. Restripe parking spaces upon completion of paving along with painting of handicap spaces. Work at Reidsville EMS Base 3, located on Freeway Drive, Reidsville NC. Work shall consist of cleaning, and filling 2000 Linear Feet of cracked pavement. Appling a seal coat to approximately 30,400 square feet of existing asphalt and restriping parking and handicap spaces upon completion. Work at Rockingham County Emergency Operations Center, located on Justice Center Drive, Wentworth NC. Work shall consist of cleaning and filling 1000 Linear Feet of cracked pavement. Appling a seal coat to approximately 32,000 square feet of existing asphalt and restriping parking and handicap spaces upon completion. The paving project shall be completed within 45 days of signing the contract. Insurance Required. Bonds.
