Phase II Staff Residence Renovations and Asbestos Abatement, Ogdensburg, NY

DASNY is procuring a project for the replacement of HVAC units and electrical rerouting and upgrade at seven (7) residences at St. Lawrence Psychiatric Center in Ogdensburg, New York. The project consists of: Electrical Scope: Replace the outdated electrical service to seven (7) residences at the facility. The new electrical service will extend the existing medium voltage feeders to two (2) separate transformers. There will be electrical distribution equipment set up at each transformer to have independent control of power at each residence. With the exception of one residence (Building 64), there will be a new 200 amp main panel provided in each residence that will be used for connecting existing branch circuiting and new branch circuiting that supports the new mechanical loads included in this project. HVAC Scope: Two gas-fired furnaces with DX cooling coil and associated air-cooled condensing unit will serve Building 62. Additionally, an energy recovery ventilator will provide outdoor air for the building. Buildings 63, 88, and 89 will be heated by two gas-fired furnaces in each building. General Construction and Asbestos Scope: Remove attic insulation and provide new in Buildings 10, 62, 63, 64, 88, 89. Miscellaneous, patch, repair, and restore in all buildings and associated asbestos abatement for installation of HVAC and Electrical services within the residences.
