Description
The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) is soliciting bids from qualified firms to provide Gradalls with proficient, experienced operators to work in conjunction with VDOT Maintenance crews to perform roadway maintenance and repairs, and assist in small construction projects within the VDOT right-of ways on primary, secondary, and residential roadways in Prince William County, in accordance with the specifications stated herein. Request for services will be on an on-call, as-needed basis. The work shall consist of, but not be limited to excavation, pipe replacement, stone replacement, asphalt cutout patching, shoulder and embankment grading, storm drainage repair, and other types of roadway projects. Contract period: One year with four optional one-year renewal periods. Q&A due 5 days prior to bid. SBE documentation required.
