2021 CDBG Streets Resurfacing & Restriping Program, Lakewood, OH

• Asphalt Resurfacing The work to be accomplished under this contract includes planing of the existing asphalt concrete pavement, full depth pavement repairs as needed, resurfacing with asphalt concrete, erosion control, installation of ADA curb ramps, pavement striping, full-depth concrete replacement, installation of new concrete stamped crosswalks, adjustments of manholes, catchbasins, monument boxes and valve boxes to grade, repair of catchbasins and manholes, and other appurtenances. Curbs and driveway aprons will be replaced as directed. Magee and Dowd streets are to be resurfaced with asphalt as shown on the project plans. Bramley is a completed concrete removal and replacement as shown on the project plans. The Lakewood Waste Water Treatment Plant has portions of asphalt pavement to be milled and resurfaced. • Sealcoating Work The work to be accomplished under this contract includes crack sealing, sealcoating and re-striping at Lakewood City Hall and Municipal Parking lots #1, #4, and #8. Note that there are time restrictions for sealcoating as shown in the plans. • City-Wide Striping – Various Areas throughout the City See “City-Wide Roadway Striping Locations (In-Kind) Summary” table for locations. This striping work includes the removal of the existing markings and replacement with epoxy paint per LS 646. New striping shall be placed in its original position unless directed by the City. Note that there are time restrictions for striping parking spots as shown in the plans.
