21/22 Resurfacing Contract, Chesapeake, VA

The Work under this Project consists of approximately 37,000 tons of SM-9.5A Hot Mix Asphalt, 270,000 SY of Milling, 1,900 SY of Hot Mix Asphalt Patching, 26,000 LF of shoulder restoration, 11 tons of driveway restoration, 6 EA video traffic loop detectors, 10,500 SY total reclamation, 200 SY Pave-Prep, 1,000 LF concrete curb & gutter, 150 EA handicap ramps, replacement of all pavement striping and markings, and adjusting utilities, manholes, and valves on various streets within the City of Chesapeake. The City will provide the Contractor with separate work orders for work to be completed within the time period negotiated and agreed upon by both parties. The City plans to select multiple contractors for a five (5) year period. The selected contractors will be required to execute the standard contract enclosed. Q&A due by 3pm, 7/14/21. Bonds required.
