Contractors must Pre-qualify with Cal Poly. The Fremont Hillside Restoration and Stabilization Project is a Collaborative Design Build (CDB) Project with Schnabel Geostructural, Design and Construction serving as the Design-Builder. These bid packages focus on the earthwork, grading, and associated work for the larger slope stabilization and rehabilitation of the hillside behind the Fremont dormitory at the Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo campus. Schnabel will be performing the geo-structural construction work to renovate the land slide and is seeking interested bidders to perform the following scopes of work for the project: 1 - PACKAGE 1: Earthwork, Final Grading, and Temporary Erosion Control 2 - PACKAGE 2: Fencing and Site Support 3 - PACKAGE 3: Final Erosion Control 4 - PACKAGE 4: Stormwater & Drainage 5 - PACKAGE 5: Landscape, Courtyard Improvements, & Concrete Hardscape 6 - PACKAGE 6: Survey Layout & Monitoring Start date: August 23rd Project Durations: 9 months DVBE participation goal applies.
