Description
The work for which bids are to be received consists of: Filter bed rehabilitation and media replacement for filters 22, 25, 26, and 33-36. Work generally includes removal, purchase and replacement of filter media, underdrains, wash water piping. Other miscellaneous work such as painting, test port replacement, and hose bib replacement is included as directed by the Drawings and Specifications. Work shall also include all supervision, equipment, flushing, disinfecting, testing and all appurtenances necessary to complete the work shown in the Drawings and Specifications. All work must be ready for satisfactory and continuous operation, in accordance with the Drawings and Specifications.
