Description
The purpose of this program is to select trained and equipped environmental spill contractors to conduct expedited containment and cleanup of spills impacting roadways maintained by the Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT). Predominantly these spills will be related to semi-tractor accidents, but may also include spills of other materials that pose a road hazard. The overarching objective is to reopen impacted roadways quickly by providing INDOT and the Indiana Department of Environmental Management (IDEM) a group of prequalified spill contractors located throughout the state to expeditiously conduct spill cleanup of impacted road surfaces and stabilize contaminants beyond the road surface. Q&A due by 11am, 7/8/21. Bonds may be required.
