Fire Station 2 Renovation and Addition, Leander, TX

Project Base Bid consists of the renovation of the existing 6,836 SF fire station with an addition of a 1,316 SF apparatus bay on the first floor and 1,174 SF of living quarters on the second floor, creating a total of 9,326 SF. The additional apparatus bay and living quarters are to accommodate an ambulance truck and EMS personnel. Site work to include sidewalks surrounding building addition, driveway paving, parking, altering existing site utilities, additional detention earthwork and storm drainage, and landscaping. Building construction to include stiffened slab on grade, structural steel framing, wood framing, CMU framing, fiber cement siding, standing seam metal roof, aluminum windows, hollow metal and wood doors, hardware, acoustical tile and gypsum board ceilings, flooring, painting, millwork, fire suppression, mechanical systems, plumbing systems, and electrical systems. Eight (8) alternates consist of modifying existing portions of the building with design layout and finish upgrade options. Bonds and insurance.
