Install Electric for Piano Lab, South Hadley, MA

Wiring for (16) student stations and (1) teachers station for the new Piano Lab formerly the original auditorium. Scope of work: the circuits will be derived from the existing stage lighting panel using (10) existing circuit breakers. Un-used stage lighting circuits will be removed from breakers taped and labeled, one (1) 20 amp 120 volt dedicated circuit for each set of (2) student stations and two (2) 20 amp 120 volt dedicated circuits for the teacher’s station. There will be two (2) duplex receptacles at each of the student’s station and four (4) duplex receptacles at the teacher’s station, one (1) CAT 6 data port will be located at each student’s station for a total of (16). The cable will be brought back to the teacher’s station, leave approximately 6’, with male end installed. At the teacher’s station. Each students station will have one (1) data ports and one (1) bushed/grommeted outlet for the owner supplied cable, one (1) pre-manufactured cable (supplied by owner) will be brought from each student’s station to the teacher’s station. (within wire mold), wiring method to be Wiremold 4000 ivory divided to include all fittings / devices to complete project as specified, East Wall: Between the exit and the column 12’ and include (1) feeder end. Between the column and the South Wall 18’ with (1) internal elbow and (1) feeder end. South Wall East 20’. West Wall: Along ramp wall 31’ with (1) internal elbow. South Wall West 20’ with (1) feeder end, one (1) 1-1/4” EMT conduit will be brought from the stage panel to a centrally located 10”x10”x4” screw cover box located on ceiling joist. One 1” EMT conduit will be brought from the screw cover box to each feeder end, all wiring to be THHN within the conduits and the Wiremold 4000, no multi wire circuits one neutral per circuit, and include electrical permit fee. Add AlterNet: Furnish and install (12) LED dimmable 4’ strip lights (ALLPRO 4SLSTP4040DD-UNV) suspended by jack chain with a 0-10 dimmer located behind teacher’s station using the existing lighting circuit.
