Spray Foam and Fiberglass Insulation Installation, Brewster, NY

Spray Foam Insulation: Provide and install across approximately 4500 sf of closed cell polyurethane spray foam insulation to the underside of the interior roof of the Tilly Foster Farm Barn (Building #9). The insulation shall be applied at a thickness of 5.5”. A 2.0 lb. density R38 value per inch of sprayed on insulation is required. The bid price shall include: mobilization, all material and equipment necessary for the successful completion of the work, masking/covering/protecting all work areas for protection from overspray, masking/covering/protecting all rafter beams (2x6), spraying of insulation, scarfing areas of excess insulation, proper ventilation, seal (caulk or canned foam) doors, windows, joints, etc that are supplemental to the work, and remove and dispose of all excess material and construction debris from the project site. Leave work area broom clean. Fire Retardant: Apply a coating of DC315 intumescent paint over spray foam, per manufacturer’s specifications, in order to achieve the required thermal barrier. Paint to be gray in color. Fiberglass Insulation: Provide and install approximately 1200 sf of 3 ½” thick, R15 Kraft faced fiberglass batts to two knee walls.
