Rock Slope Remediation East of Hudson, Somers, NY

The Metropolitan Transportation Authority (“MTA”), by and through its agent the MTA Construction & Development Company (“MTA C&D”), both of which are public benefit corporations existing by virtue of Article 5, Title 11 of the Public Authorities Law, will be issuing an Invitation for Bids (“IFB”) seeking entities interested in the On-Call Services of Rock Slope Remediation- East of Hudson. This Contract is for the for the procurement of an “ON CALL” construction contract to provide the following Rock Slope Remediation Program services: remediation of up to 6 priority rock slope sites East of Hudson to the extent that funding permits. Rock slope are planned for the Hudson, Harlem and New Haven Lines. The contract is “ON Call” to allow the ability to perform the remediation when the necessary track outages become available, since the track outage timing cannot be pre-determined. Construction tasks include rock face tree clearing, rock scaling, rock bolting, installation of cable mesh restraint systems on rock faces, rock fences and concrete buttresses. Contract term 39 months. MBE goal is 15%, WBE goal is 15%, and SDVOB goal is 6%.
