Public Works Engineering is responsible for the planning, engineering design and construction of county roads, bridges, traffic control devices, parking facilities, curbs, gutters, sidewalks, storm drainage, compliance programs (UPDES) associated with the Clean Water Act, and other related projects, infrastructure, and systems in the unincorporated area of the County and other contracted jurisdictions. Flood Control Engineering is responsible for the planning, engineering, construction, maintenance, operations and regulation of countywide flood control facilities in both the incorporated and unincorporated areas of the County. The Division is also responsible for watershed planning and restoration (i.e. ecosystem restoration, water quality implementation projects, watershed health evaluations, water quality sampling, and public outreach programs). Bonds required. Multi-Award Contract . Maximum term is 9/30/27.
