Description
Construction Management General Contractor services for Preconstruction and new construction of a new Mental Health Intake and Receiving Center for the Huntsman Mental Health Institute (HMHI) and the University of Utah. The proposed project will provide a 52,000 sq. ft. University of Utah Health owned facility, that will provide crisis mental health services in an appropriate setting, and as an alternative to emergency department care. The project scope will consist of a licensed “I-1” or “I-2” hospital occupancy building to include a 30-chair receiving center, a 24-bed acute stabilization unit, mobile outreach team space, administration and staff support, and pharmacy and lab services. It will be located on a nine-acre parcel at 3300 South, between 900 West and 1000 West. Bonds required.
