Description
The Scope of Work includes a maintenance contract performed in two phases with the contractor furnishing all labor, materials, equipment and insurance to fulfill the Agreement in approximately four months. Phase 1 requires the vendor to perform work required for the maintenance of approximately 900 Gate valves throughout the City of Newburyport’s water distribution system. Phase 2 is for the repair and replacement of rounded or deficient valve operating nuts without excavation. The number of valves to be repaired will be determined after phase one of this project is complete. It is anticipated that the work associated with this contract will take four months to substantially complete. This contract will be effective on the date specified in a Notice to Proceed and will expire one year from that date. Bonds and prevailing wages
