Description
The City of Norton, Virginia desires to prequalify prospective contractors for housing rehabilitation and substantial reconstruction related to the City of Norton Southside Comprehensive Community Development Project. Subsequent consideration of bids for the construction of the housing rehabilitation and substantial reconstruction will be limited to pre-qualified contractors. Home improvements are expected to be made on an estimated twenty-three (23) private properties located in the Southside are of the City of Norton. Construction costs are expected to range from approximately $7,500 to $85,000 per property. All statements of qualification shall be submitted to LENOWISCO Planning District Commission, manager of this project.
