Water Main Replacement, Northbridge, MA

The work of this contract includes, but is not limited to, approximately 900 linear feet of new 8-inch diameter cement lined DI water main in Jon Circle and Robin Rd (Base Bid), approximately 1,000 linear feet of new 8-inch diameter cement lined DI water main in Edgemere Ave (Alternate No. 1) and approximately 400 feet of 12-inch diameter and 460 feet of 8-inch diameter cement lined DI water main in Linwood Ave and Court St, respectively (Alternate No. 2), including furnishing and installing new water service connections, fittings, valves, hydrants, connections to the existing water system, installing and removing temporary service pipe, all earthwork, dewatering and drainage, trench pavement, restoration, utility crossing, traffic management, miscellaneous work and cleanup, and all work required in the Contract Documents. The Contract Time shall be 150 Calendar Days commencing 20 days following the Effective Date of the Agreement. Winter shutdown shall be enforced between November 15, 2021 and March 31, 2022, unless approved by Owner to continue work. No time extension will be granted for inclusion of the Bid Alternate(s).
