Description

The existing cargo facilities at the Salt Lake City International Airport, in the North Cargo area do not have the capacity to accommodate future growth of expected air cargo traffic. This project will develop a site in this area that will allow SLCDA to increase its air cargo handling capacity. Work will include site preparation, unclassified excavation, placement of engineered fill, utilities, access road development, new econocrete base course and new Portland Cement Concrete paving for taxilane and air cargo parking apron. Also included is pavement marking and taxilane edge lights complete with new underground cabling and connectors. Bonds required.
