Description
The Project consists of the removal of existing roof membranes, flashing, coping, and insulation on buildings 4 and 7 of the Louisiana Department of Corrections Headquarters. Following demolition of old roof systems, new tapered insulation and SBS modified bitumen roof membranes will be installed. Additional work includes demolition / removal of non-operational HVAC equipment, patching of damaged plaster/stucco, repair to damaged masonry, and masonry waterproofing. When this project is financed either partially or entirely with State Bonds or financed in whole or in part by federal or other funds which are not readily available at the time bids are received, the award of this Contract is contingent upon the granting of lines of credit, or the sale of bonds by the Bond Commission or the availability of federal or other funds. The State shall incur no obligation to the Contractor until the Contract Between Owner and Contractor is fully executed. The Bidder shall agree to fully complete the contract within 90 consecutive calendar days. Insurance Required. Bonds.
