Description
This is a Walk-through of the Bid Process and Bid Forms. Bidding for City/County procurement opportunities if often intimidating to contractors who are unfamiliar with government processes. This workshop will: Outline the different types of competitions; summarize the basic City procurement processes; walk through actual bid documents; explain the impact of certifying as an MBE/WBE/DVBE etc; Examine how bids are evaluated by the Purchasing Division; describe how an award is made; provide tips for submitting a successful bid; allow vendors to meet buyers at the purchasing Division and serve as an opportunity to network with certified MBE/WBE/DVBE or DOBE's.
