Fire Extinguisher Inspection & Service, Contra Costa Co., CA

Vendor shall provide inspection, maintenance, repair, and recharging of all portable fire extinguishers, in accordance with The Standard for Portable Fire Extinguishers NFPA 10 (current edition), published by National Fire Protection Association (NFPA). Vendor will service, test and recharge all extinguishers on an annual basis. The annual service will consist of: 1. Disassembly, inspection, replacement of parts as required; 2. Reassembly, test, and tag each extinguisher per normal industry standards as required by State Fire Marshals California Administrative Code. Contractors must be able to perform hydro static pressure tests. Contractor will work with the Facilities Services Division of the Public Works Department to establish a maintenance schedule for the inspection schedule, locations, and emergency call-outs and repairs. Contract duration is 3 years with 2 annual renewals for a total of 5 years.
