The following maintenance procedures shall be performed: Remove burner and check condition “B” series visually check electrode and check gap. Replace dirty or damaged. Visually check ceramic and retainer grid. Check burner observation window and gasket. Clean if necessary. Check firing tube inside and out for holes or cracks. Replace combustion air filter. Inspect vacuum pump and flue pipe for dirt, soot or obstructions to outdoors. Clean if needed. Check vacuum water column. Inspect acoustical boot for cracks or leaks. Check pipe joints for leaks. Check gas pressure. Check performance of heater and visually observe flame for proper characteristics. Inspect outside air blower and blower intake for leaks or obstructions. Check reflector and tube condition. Bond required. Prevailing wages apply.
