New Construction: Ballenger McKinney Grease Receiving Station, Frederick, MD

Work under this contract includes all labor, equipment and materials necessary for a new grease receiving station which shall include 10,000 gallon working capacity precast single chamber concrete tank installed partially below grade, along with level transmitter, filling, unloading, overflow and future valves and piping, water service with yard hydrant, hose, and hose reel, heat tracing, drain line connecting to existing manhole, electrical power supply and distribution, site lighting, instrumentation, controls, SCADA, access roadway, and associated structural and civil site work. Once the new grease receiving is accepted by the Owner, the work also includes the removal and legal disposal of the existing 3,500 gallon precast concrete tank grease receiving station to the existing joint below grade, demolition of the filling and unloading valves and piping, partial demolition of the overflow and drain valves and piping and plug abandoned pipes, and restoration of the disturbed area of the existing grease receiving station.
