District 56 Signage Project, Elk Grove, CA

The proposed Work shall include but not be limited to the following: fabrication and installation of monument signs or “primary signs” at two locations (Civic Center Drive at the vehicle entrance to the Community Center parking lot and Big Horn Boulevard vehicle entrance to the Aquatics Center parking lot (Add Alternate A) and the Preserve (also referred to as the “Nature Area”) trail entry signs or “secondary signs” at three locations at the City owned District56 site. The Plans, with details specified are provided to the Contractor, which they shall intern use to create Shop Drawings consistent with those Plans to fabricate the signs. The Work shall consist of but not be limited to the following: fabrication of all signs (Base Bid and Add Alternate A), prepare each location to receive the new signs, fabricate, and install fabricated primary signs, modify the electrical at the primary signs for the internally illuminated light for the sign, and install fabricated kickplate to the existing light. The Project will result in the fabrication and installation of two primary signs (if Bid Alternate A is awarded) with adjustments to the existing lighting and addition of internally illuminated sign to improve visibility of the primary signs at night, and three separate secondary signs as shown on the Plans and as specified in these Project specifications and Contract Documents.
