Electric Vehicle Charging Plaza Rental Location and Maintenance, Encinitas, CA

The City of Encinitas (City) is requesting proposals from qualified parties, companies, or entities (“Respondent”) to rent licensed premises for the following purpose(s) or activity(ies): construction, installation, maintenance, repair, replacement, removal, and operation of an electric vehicle charging plaza and ancillary items. The licensed premises will consist of up to ten (10) of the parking spaces located on the premises to be dedicated to DCFC for EVs, with additional parking spaces potentially available for use by Respondent for equipment related to the EV charging stations upon request to and at discretion of the City. No less than ten (9) parking spaces are to remain open and available for public parking and the City’s preference is that spaces for public parking be maximized on the site. . Respondent is to design, construct, install, own, operate, and maintain a publicly accessible DCFC EV Charging Plaza at 561 South Vulcan Avenue, Encinitas, CA 92024. The initial term of the licensed premises shall be for at least a three-year term, and the term may be extended upon mutual agreement of City and the licensee.
