Description

Effective January 1, 2015, Senate Bill 502 amended Public Contract Code Section 10504.5 enabling the University of California, San Francisco Medical Center to informally bid projects up to $640,000. For informally bid projects between $300,000 and $640,000, the University is required to solicit bids only from qualified General Contractors and Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) subcontractors. Qualification is based on meeting the requirements in the Base Qualification Questionnaire.
