Description
The City of Carson “City” invites qualified public safety surveillance system companies to submit proposals for the removal and replacement of the existing security cameras and associated radios in the public-right-of-way, along Avalon Boulevard. Additionally, the City seeks recommendations and pricing for the future expansion of the security and radio system. The current fleet of equipment includes six (6) 4.9 GHz wireless transceivers, nine (9) 5GHz wireless transceivers, seven (7) Arecont 180 degree network cameras, and five (5) PIPS automatic license plate recognition (ALPR) cameras. A map showing the current locations of the equipment is included as Exhibit A to this Request for Proposal (RFP). The City of Carson Public Works Department will serve as the lead agency on this project. The Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department will serve as the secondary support agency on this project. Bonds required. Prevailing wages apply.
