Fencing Supplies & Installation, Salt Lake City UT

Salt Lake City Corporation (the "City") is soliciting competitive sealed bids from qualified fencing supply companies to provide various Salt Lake City departments with permanent fencing and related fencing components for installation by City personnel. In some cases, the purchase of fencing materials may also include installation by supplier and could also include custom fabrication. Temporary fencing (event fencing) is also desired requiring the supplier to provide prior event setup and post event take down. Permanent fencing supplies frequently include posts, rails, and connectors primarily for chain-link fencing, but may also include wood, metal, and plastic fencing materials. Fabrication of various custom fencing components, such as gates or latches, may also be requested on an “as needed” basis. The City’s need for the rental of temporary event fencing consists of requirements for 6-foot high chain link (or similar type) fencing usually supplied in section lengths of 10 – 12 feet with stands. Event fencing shall require the supplier to provide and setup between 685 feet to 1590 feet of fencing the night before an event and remove the fencing immediately following the event. This Request for Bid may result in the award of more than one agreement. Bidders may submit a bid for permanent fencing only, temporary fencing only, or both. The City intends to contract with one or more companies that offer a full range of goods and/or services at competitive prices.
